We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Luxury Travel Concierge Expert to enhance our dynamic tour operator team, specifically within our Sales Support division.

As the Luxury Travel Concierge Expert, you will play a crucial role in shaping our travel offerings by serving as the primary liaison for our consultants. Your expertise in facilitating guest reservations, coordinating transportation, and addressing unique requests will significantly influence our competitive edge, profitability, and the overall quality of the travel experiences we deliver.

Your diverse skills in operations, client relations, supplier interactions, and reporting will ensure a comprehensive approach to managing client satisfaction and driving business success. By providing essential administrative support to our Travel Consultants, you will be pivotal in maintaining efficiency and consistency throughout the client journey. Your contributions in these key areas will be essential in achieving our organizational objectives and reinforcing our position as a leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate hotel/lodge and logistical bookings based on consultant specifications.
  • Manage the distribution of travel requests to agents.
  • Assist Sales Consultants with various administrative tasks.
  • Oversee all aspects following booking confirmations.
  • Facilitate enquiry handovers to Senior Consultants.
  • Prepare sales quotes as the initial point of contact for Senior Sales Consultants.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to resolve client travel concerns.
  • Handle customer service inquiries and perform additional office duties as required.
  • Engage with external suppliers regularly via phone and email to ensure booking details are finalized.
  • Work with our rates team to address pricing-related inquiries and communicate with consultants.
  • Document all necessary tickets related to rates and products.
  • Ensure timely responses to Sales Consultant requests within 24 hours.
  • Maintain the Concierge dashboard and complete reporting with Sales Managers.

Qualifications:

The ideal Luxury Travel Concierge Expert will possess:

  • A National Senior Certificate/Matric.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Concierge or Sales Administrative Assistant role within a Tour Operator setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Degree/Diploma in Tourism is advantageous.
