Logistics Business Development Representative

We are looking for a skilled Sea Logistics Sales Representative to join our team in Johannesburg. Your primary goal will be to acquire, win, and retain new customers, working closely with key stakeholders to maximize business opportunities and achieve agreed goals.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities in Sea Logistics, focusing on SMEs and maintaining existing customers.
- Take pricing decisions in alignment with the Customer Care Managers.
- Prepare quotations using our online tools and submit proposals to customers.
- Develop expert market knowledge and demonstrate superior Sea Logistics products.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products.
- Report customer complaints to the Customer Care Team.
- Work and build relationships with internal departments, such as Customer Care, Route Development, and Pricing Teams.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a focus on sea logistics sales.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Strong commercial skills and customer focus.
