The primary responsibility of the Estates Management Administrator is to ensure the proficient and professional administration of deceased estates, aligning with financial objectives and compliance with the Administration of Estates Act 66 of 1965 and relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the comprehensive management of deceased estates in accordance with the relevant legislation. Address and resolve escalations effectively. Employ analytical skills and legal expertise to navigate complex challenges in estate administration. Possess a thorough understanding of business entities, estate duty, capital gains, and income tax as they pertain to deceased estates. Exhibit strong drafting and communication abilities. Demonstrate knowledge of risk and compliance within the fiduciary sector.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Holds a legal qualification or a credential in deceased estates (preferably LLB, CFP, or Estates Diploma). Brings a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex deceased estates or high-net-worth clients within a fiduciary context.
