The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets through lead generation, prospecting, client meetings, proposal development, estimates, presentations, and other relevant activities. This includes identifying and targeting sales opportunities at various levels, formulating strategies to win new business, and increasing market share. Additional responsibilities include opening new business accounts, creating and implementing SOPs, SLAs, and other related documents, as well as providing weekly and monthly reports internally and to clients. Regular meetings with clients for new business or servicing existing relationships are also a key aspect of this role.
To succeed in this position, candidates must possess a strong understanding of the SME sector and its unique logistics needs, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. Previous formal sales training and a proven sales track record are essential requirements. Additionally, candidates should be well-presented, professional individuals with excellent written and verbal language skills, able to effectively negotiate and interpret financial information, including budgets and financial statements.
