About the Role

This is a fantastic chance for experienced dentists to reduce their direct clinical commitments and focus on teaching and training overseas qualified dentists. As part of our Enhanced Training Practice in Falmouth, you will be working closely with an established team of clinical supervisors and contributing to the success of our BDS international course.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To work on Fridays at our practice location, providing clinical supervision and support to up to 4 overseas qualified dentists in a general dental practice environment.
  • To liaise with UCLAN educational staff and our clinical team about the progress and abilities of the dental students.
  • To attend relevant training and meetings, staying up-to-date with best practices and ensuring the continued professional development of the students.
  • To assess and grade treatment provided by the students, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
  • To collaborate with the practice manager to ensure seamless integration of dental students into our practice.
  • To provide pastoral support to the students and report any issues arising during their placement.
Requirements:
  • GDC registration as a Dentist
  • Minimum 4 years post-qualification UK experience as a general Dentist
  • Prior experience in teaching or mentoring is desirable but not essential
Compensation and Benefits:

We are offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
