Job Title: Senior Travel Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Travel Designer to join our team at Wild Dreams Hospitality. As a Senior Travel Designer, you will be responsible for creating bespoke travel experiences for our clients, focusing on the inbound travel industry in South Africa and Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop personalized travel itineraries for clients, taking into account their interests, preferences, and budget.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of South Africa and Southern Africa, including its culture, history, and natural wonders.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless execution of travel plans, including booking and operating systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring our travel experiences remain relevant and exciting.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 with mathematics
  • Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/hospitality is advantageous
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in the inbound travel industry, with a focus on senior-level roles
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of TourPlan and WETU or similar booking/operating systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities
  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically
  • Passion for wildlife and conservation
