About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer relationships, developing and promoting travel products, and building journeys in the inbound travel industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Travel Product Development: Design and promote travel products that meet the needs of our customers, including customized itineraries and packages.
  • Journey Building: Create and deliver unique travel experiences that exceed customer expectations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the travel industry, with a focus on Southern and East Africa.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and TourPlan/WETU booking systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Matric certificate and tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/Hospitality (advantageous).
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on customer relationships and product development.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Southern and East Africa, with a strong understanding of the local culture and customs.
  • Personal Qualities: Dynamic, creative, organized, and excellent communication skills, with a high level of integrity and ethical conduct.
