Senior Travel Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Travel Designer to join our team at Wild Dreams Hospitality. As a Senior Travel Designer, you will be responsible for creating bespoke travel experiences for our clients, utilizing your extensive knowledge of South Africa and Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop customized travel itineraries for clients, taking into account their interests, preferences, and budget.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to understand client requirements and preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest travel trends, destinations, and products to ensure our clients receive the best possible experiences.
  • Work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless execution of travel plans.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 with mathematics
  • Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/hospitality is advantageous
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in the inbound travel industry, with a focus on senior-level travel design
  • Deep knowledge of South Africa and Southern Africa, including its cultures, history, and natural wonders
  • Personal or educational travel experience within South Africa and Southern Africa is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Mozambique, Mauritius, and Seychelles is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of TourPlan and WETU or similar booking/operating systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve without compromising accuracy
  • Strong financial skills and a high level of integrity
  • Passion for wildlife and conservation
