We are seeking a Junior GIS Data & Market Analyst who is efficient with GIS platforms (ESRI) and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Property, Town & Regional Planning, Business, GIS or a related field and at least 1 year of experience working with feasibility studies. They should have high proficiency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the candidate should have foundational understanding of data science and exposure to Microsoft PowerBi and Alteryx.

Duties include collecting, analysing, interrogate and interpret data in line with applicable methodologies and standards. You will work with Senior Associates to compile feasibility studies for numerous well-known retail portfolios within Africa and deliver assigned projects in line with specific Key Performance Indicator parameters (time, quality, cost, value). Report writing skills are also essential, including type of Projects / Reports: Retail Feasibility Reports, Site Assessments, Network/Portfolio Planning Analyses, ESRI online dashboarding and viewers.

Key Requirements include
  • Bachelor's Degree in Property, Town & Regional Planning, Business, GIS or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with feasibility studies.
  • ESRI ArcGIS knowledge and application.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to 'think retail'.
  • Previous exposure to feasibility studies is preferable.
  • Foundational understanding of data science with exposure to Microsoft PowerBi and Alteryx will be beneficial.
  • Driver's license and own reliable transport.
