**Exciting Opportunity for a Payroll & Talent Reporting Specialist**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll & Talent Reporting Specialist to join our team at CA Financial Appointments. As a key member of our shared services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of employee payments and all aspects of the payroll process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of employees and all aspects of the payroll process
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and legislations
  • Payroll systems and processes understanding and assist with enhancements as required
  • Work with the talent team, finance team and payroll administrator to maintain accurate employee data
  • Monthly reconciliations between finance accounting and payroll records
  • Monthly analysis of payroll movements for management accounts
  • Oversight of payroll records, reports, and documentation for auditing and legal purposes.
  • Payroll audit key point of contact
  • Workmen's compensation regulatory requirements
  • Keep up-to-date on any payroll regulation or law updates, ensuring updates are implemented and best payroll practice is adhered to
  • Produce accurate and high-quality monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports on various employee data and assist on all related ad-hoc HR, Talent reports around payroll such as benefits etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification with a preference to postgraduate / CA(SA) / CIMA qualified candidates
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role working with payroll, employee reporting and HR systems
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and process and related accounting principles
  • Exposure to SAGE people or related would be an advantage
  • Must be systems orientated and a keen eye for enhancements
  • High levels of discretion and integrity

  • Naturally curious with excellent numerical and analytical skills
