About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Stonehage Fleming. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for managing and administering the attraction and recruitment of high-quality candidates to support our hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our business managers and HR team to ensure delivery of a professional service to the business and to candidates alike.
  • Meet with business managers to discuss current and planned hiring needs and agree strategy to achieve a successful outcome.
  • Manage job applications from various sources, ensuring candidates have a positive experience and building a strong pipeline.
  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team to build and nurture a pipeline of quality talent suitable for future vacancies.
  • Stay up-to-date with best market practice and employment laws in South Africa.
  • Support HR projects as required to meet Group hiring objectives and enable growth of the business.
  • Monitor recruitment and talent acquisition mailboxes to ensure timely response to enquiries.
  • Develop relationships with selected agencies to help fill positions.
  • Assist with other work as agreed from time to time.

Requirements

  • BComm Degree in HR, Law, Business, or similar.
  • Previous work experience in recruitment (in-house and/or agency) – minimum 2 years.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
  • Proven track record of successfully helping businesses build teams in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience working with universities and organizing TA events to attract high-calibre talent (desirable).
  • Experience of different jurisdictions and/or cultures beneficial.
  • Deep understanding of the recruitment industry, particularly in executive search and specialized roles.
  • Fluency in Afrikaans beneficial.
