Gap Consulting is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales team as a Vehicle Sales Director. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategies to optimize vehicle inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales initiatives to increase revenue and enhance market share
  • Develop and implement data-driven sales strategies to maximize asset utilization and minimize stock holding costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sales operations and support functions
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with dealerships and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Management within the Automotive Industry, preferably in a high-volume dealership environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales strategy development, inventory management, and team leadership
  • Grade 12 qualification or equivalent is essential, along with a valid driver's license
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced corporate dealer group environment

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive basic salary ranging from R 20 000 - R 25 000 per month, based on their level of experience. Additionally, they will be eligible for performance-based incentives and benefits, including a company vehicle.
