Job Summary:

Abantu Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our PE branch in the retail sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, warehouse/logistics, or retail management, with a proven track record of success in a management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Develop and implement effective financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Operations and Customer Care: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • General: Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the branch.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade / Matric and a relevant post-graduate qualification.
  • Experience: 5 years' experience in a food service, warehouse/logistics, or retail environment, and 5 years' experience in a management role.
  • Skills: Excellent financial management skills, planning skills and accuracy, problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, ability to handle pressure, self-reliant and responsible, cultural sensitivity, service orientation, accountability for all work performed, excellent people skills and staff development, and time management skills.
