Financial Reporting and Analysis

As a key member of the Talent Sam team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial close of ledgers for all group companies. Your expertise in financial reporting will enable you to prepare and publish monthly financial statements by the 10th of the month for the previous month.

Budgeting and Forecasting

You will coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, ensuring these are in Sage Intacct to run monthly variance reports. Your analytical skills will be essential in evaluating and managing financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Team Leadership

As a team leader, you will supervise and manage the finance team, currently consisting of 4 people. Your leadership skills will be crucial in developing collaborative relationships with executives and other directors to meet information needs.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to develop collaborative relationships with executives and other directors.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills to produce regular management reports and operate to deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with accounting software, ideally Sage Intacct.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Mandatory Requirements
  • A sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of management accounts.
  • Ability to manage and train others.
  • ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
