We're seeking an Insurance Retention Advocate to join our team. As an Insurance Retention Advocate, you will play a key role in retaining existing policyholders who are at risk of cancelling or lapsing their life insurance policies.
Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to policyholders, handle inbound cancellation-related calls, understand their needs and concerns, and offer tailored solutions to retain them.
This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to handle objections effectively. You must establish rapport with policyholders, express empathy, and actively listen to their concerns.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to policyholders whose policies are at risk of cancellation or lapsing.
- Handle inbound cancellation-related calls from policyholders.
- Understand policyholder needs and concerns, and offer tailored solutions to retain them.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a client service or sales environment.
- In-depth understanding of life insurance products and their benefits, with strong funeral and life insurance product knowledge.
- RE5 (compulsory).
- Matric.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with policyholders; abilities to interact in local languages is an advantage.
