About our Team
The Africa direct sales team is responsible for promoting LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and solutions across the EMEA territory. As an inside sales position, you will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with clients to establish strong relationships and drive business growth.
About the Role
This role involves supporting renewals through proactive engagement with clients, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and collaborating with the regional sales team to maximize revenue potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain client relationships through regular interactions, including meetings and timely responses to client requests and feedback.
- Work alongside other key account managers to assist teams' client database with various queries: product usage, renewals, and renewal-related questions, documentation, and administrative tasks.
- R Retain and grow key services within the existing customer base.
- Owning the value proposition positioning statement and use cases for the assigned portfolio and territory to ensure customers recognize value and differentiate over alternatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholder departments to ensure an integrated approach to customer care and market needs are met, and value is recognized.
- Maintain an effective portfolio management plan; document key goals for individual customers in relation to sales, marketing, and customer service activities to meet strategic financial and business targets.
- Stay up-to-date with market and competitive developments, such as major regulatory changes and new product offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
- 1-3 years of account management experience and experience within the financial sectors/markets is desirable.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Understanding of professional research processes and ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and solutions and how they apply to the customer's needs.
- Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities, business maturity, and technical knowledge.
- Able to work as part of a team, accomplishing mutual team goals.
- SalesForce knowledge is a plus.
