Role Overview

The Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) seeks an experienced professional to fill the position of Entrepreneurial Development Practitioner. The selected candidate will work closely with emerging entrepreneurs in rural and peri-urban areas, providing strategic business development mentoring and coaching to enhance their growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective business development strategies for emerging entrepreneurs.
  2. Conduct regular coaching sessions, monitoring progress and providing guidance.
  3. Evaluate the impact of the Entrepreneurial Development Program.
  4. Collaborate with other stakeholders to promote entrepreneurship and business growth.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum qualifications include a Matric certificate and a National Diploma in Business Management/Commerce/Economics.
  • Prior experience in business, coaching, and mentoring is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of small enterprise development principles and BESD coaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
