Marketing Manager - Digital Inclusion

We are on a mission to bridge the digital divide by providing free Wi-Fi access through our innovative content platform. As a Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with company goals and target audience.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align content initiatives within the platform's strategic goals.
  • Oversee the design team responsible for creating visuals and creative assets for marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Organize and participate in promotional activities, including events and trade shows.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to the senior management team, detailing the progress of marketing initiatives and the achievement of set targets.
  • Manage relationships with content clients and producers, addressing their needs effectively.
  • Curate and review content submissions for quality and relevance.
  • Develop and implement strategies for content curation, staying current with industry trends and Kasi pop culture to provide users with captivating experiences.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the platform's content ecosystem, including micro-apps and content delivery methods, to optimize user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitor content performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement based on user engagement and feedback.
  • Organize and participate in events, trade shows, and other promotional activities to promote the company and its products/services.
  • Collaborate with Account Manager to tailor content offerings to clients' objectives and preferences.
  • Identify media opportunities, pitch story ideas, and manage public relations efforts to enhance the brand's reputation and reach within the industry.
  • Craft compelling narratives that convey the company's message effectively.
  • Act as a point of contact for content-related inquiries from internal teams and external partners.
  • Stay updated on digital media and content management technologies, suggesting innovative strategies.
  • Utilize marketing analytics for data-driven decision-making in content strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth research on the public transport sector in South Africa to create relevant content.
  • Oversee the design team responsible for creating visuals for marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the website content and optimize user experience and SEO.
  • Plan, create, and manage marketing collateral and advertising campaigns.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing communication strategies that ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Leverage data and insights to refine integrated marketing communication strategies.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Social Media, Digital Marketing, or Multi-Media.
  • Strong passion and understanding of Kasi pop culture.
  • Proven experience in content management, curation, and strategy within a digital platform or similar industry.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in multi-media design tools and proven track record in graphic design and branding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with content marketing principles and digital content trends.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
