At VirtuHire, we are looking for a Sales Director to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth for one of our clients based out of New York (USA).

Sales Director

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, training, and motivating a team (set to grow to 50 employees) and managing all sales-related strategy and development for their South African operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and expand the client base.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance sales effectiveness and product offerings.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales performance, forecasts, and growth opportunities to executive leadership.
  • Participate in recruitment and training of new sales personnel to foster a high-performance culture.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in a leadership role (managing lead generation teams).
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, techniques, and CRM software.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
