Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team at Michelle Taylor Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to utilize their skills and experience in internal sales to drive business growth and revenue.
About the RoleThis role involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing customers, sourcing new sales opportunities, and providing competitive quotations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in internal sales in an industrial environment and a strong understanding of sales principles and practices. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
We offer a competitive salary range of R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a generous commission structure and opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities
- Providing competitive quotations and supporting the external sales team
- Processing orders accurately and efficiently on Syspro
- Securing sales and meeting monthly targets
- Liaising with debtors controller and stock administrator to ensure smooth operations
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in internal sales in an industrial environment
- Strong understanding of sales principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
