Software Support Specialist

As a key member of the Vista team, the Applications Specialist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional software support, training, and consulting services to our EMEA customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 3rd line software support to customers, addressing any software-related issues within set SLA timelines.
- Act as an escalation point to the 2nd line support team, ensuring seamless issue resolution.
- Deploy, train, and consult on the Vista system, both on-site and remotely, to meet customer needs.
- Develop product expertise and become a subject matter expert in at least one Vista product.
- Serve as the primary support contact for one Enterprise or multiple SME customers.
- Deliver software deployment, training, and consulting services for the Vista system, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Analyze customer requirements and implement solutions within the Vista suite of software.
- Test configurations to satisfy customer needs and ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers and team members on project tasks.
- Offer end-user training on Vista software to cinema and technical staff as required.
- Contribute to development projects, primarily using Microsoft SQL and Crystal Reports to deliver custom extracts and reports for EMEA customers.
- Prepare and deliver internal presentations on Vista products and services.
- Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of this position, as requested.
Qualifications and experience:
- BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent (preferred).
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server.
- Intermediate knowledge of.NET (preferred).
- Intermediate knowledge of Networking.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Fast learner with a high level of problem-solving ability.

- Ability to work on several tasks and/or projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Able to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Friendly, positive personality and generally excellent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in an additional European language would be an advantage and in some positions is required.
