We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team in Johannesburg. As an HR Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting our payroll and human resources functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate monthly payroll process for allocated entities ensuring timely and accurate deployment.
- Collect and centralize payroll calculation supporting information including bonuses, deductions, and benefits in kind.
- Maintain employee records and ensure changes are made correctly and on time.
- Review and verify accuracy of approved timesheets.
- Ensure compliance with agreed payroll calendar.
- Process payment of salaries for allocated entities in accordance with legal terms and contractual stipulations.
- Communicate effectively with benefits vendors, monitor operational activities, and manage monthly invoicing process.
- Investigate and resolve employee claims on benefits and respond to routine queries.
- Evaluate report accuracy and ensure payroll accrual process is performed on schedule.
- Evaluate holiday accrual process against established principles.
- Prepare and verify employment documents, assist new hires with completing employment formalities.
- Collect and verify internal changes of positions, bonuses, employees' personnel data, and contractual information; obtain authorized signatures for all required documents.
- Distribute electronic and hard copy documents necessary for payroll processing or filing in employee personnel files.
- Assist with termination formalities, initiate exit process steps.
- Collect certificates and distribute received papers upon request.
- Answer routine labor law and internal procedure questions related to personnel administration and payroll areas.
- Deliver HR Front Office activities for allocated site receiving sick leaves, other documents from employees, releasing bank certificates or other certificates as needed.
