Job Title: Senior Sales Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Portfolio Manager to join our team at Prostaff Holdings. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a large network of distributors and agents within the agricultural industry in the eastern cape area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and drive distributors, visiting clients with them to present new and existing projects and products.
  • Present monthly reports on sales to senior management.
  • Drive monthly and annual sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Determine market strategies and identify market opportunities within the agrochemical market.
  • Manage and work alongside growers and export companies.
  • Conduct demonstrations and trials at farmers' days and product launches.
  • Manage sales figures and budgets per month.
  • Conduct training with customers, farmers, industry associations, and crop-related companies.
  • Provide sales and technical support to customers.
  • Manage pricelists and price increases.
  • Ensure product strategies on pricing are followed.
Requirements:
  • A business management or agricultural degree or diploma or related qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous sales experience working within the agrochemical industry managing distributors and calling on farmers is essential for the role.
  • The company is happy to consider a person who has worked as a distributor or an agent within the agricultural crop protection/pesticides markets for this role.
  • Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Must be exceptionally well organised and driven by success.
  • Must have outstanding negotiating skills and communication skills.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
