Job Summary:

This Payroll Operations Coordinator position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for finance and administration to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and reconciling payroll, including new employee onboarding and terminations, leave management, deductions, and adjustments.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be accountable for pay period reconciliations, import hours, mid-year, and tax year-end reconciliations, as well as generating management information and reporting month-end results.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • VIP payroll certification obtained through VIP
  • Proficiency in report writing and ODBC
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll, salary & wages, or finance
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and T&A systems
  • Familiarity with Labour Relations and Basic Conditions of Employment Act
  • Strong computer skills

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $60,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience.
