Objective Personnel is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience in sales of capital mechanical equipment or services into the mining and metallurgical sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and generate sales leads within a dedicated market area, implementing a strategic sales strategy to grow the customer base through cold calling and meetings.
  • Maintain a strong presence and build on existing client relationships, achieving weekly sales calls and participating in targeted financial goals through sales.
  • Report to the Sales Manager on weekly performance, providing insights into market trends and customer needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales of capital mechanical equipment or services into the mining and metallurgical sector, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong technical skills in engineering principles and practices, including a formal education in Chemical / Mechanical engineering or Metallurgy fields.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) levels, enabling effective communication and relationship-building with customers and colleagues.
