Job Title: Debt Review Specialist

WNS Global Services is seeking a highly skilled Debt Review Specialist to join our team. As a Debt Review Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Debt Review and Administration department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Debt Review: Manage debt review email boxes, ensure timely action, and maintain accurate records.
  • Document Management: Peruse, save, and forward debt review documents, including Cob's, 17.1's, 17.2 proposals, acceptance, declines, counters, court orders, 17.5's, 17.6, and 17.w.
  • Communication: Draft Cob's and paid-up letters as required, and communicate with debt counsellors and clients in a professional and timely manner.
  • System Management: Flag and unflag debt review accounts on various systems, including Salesforce, Enterprise, and CollectSmart.
  • Refunds and Payments: Process refunds on overpayments and manage client payments.
  • Query Resolution: Resolve queries from external parties, including debt counsellors and outsourcing partners.
Debt Review Administration:
  • Document Management: Peruse and save documents on Salesforce.
  • Account Flagging: Flag accounts as admin on relevant systems.
  • Follow-up: Follow up quarterly with administrators regarding payments received or missed.
Insolvency and Deceased:
  • Document Management: Peruse and save documents on Salesforce.
  • Account Flagging: Flag accounts as insolvent or deceased on relevant systems.
  • Write-off Requests: Process write-off requests and obtain approval.
Contact Centre Support:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Contact Centre, including responding to requests for information and resolving customer issues.
  • Communication: Communicate with staff from other departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Training and Development: Attend product and process training sessions to stay up-to-date on company products and technologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualification: Matric/Grade 12.
  • Experience: Previous debt review experience, customer service experience, and experience working in a regulated environment.
