Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Debt Review Operations Specialist to join our team at WNS Global Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the Debt Review & Administration department, ensuring all back-office operations are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage debt review email boxes and ensure timely action
  • Peruse, save, and forward debt review documents
  • Draft Cob's and paid-up letters as required
  • Flag and unflag debt review accounts on various systems
  • Process refunds on overpayments and deal with escalated queries
  • Assess and evaluate reckless lending allegations

Debt Review Administration:

  • Peruse and save documents on Salesforce
  • Flag accounts as admin on relevant systems
  • Follow up quarterly with administrators regarding payments received or missed

Insolvency and Deceased:

  • Peruse and save documents on Salesforce
  • Flag accounts as insolvent or deceased
  • Process write-off requests and obtain approval

Contact Centre Support:

  • Assist in completing general admin duties and provide support to the Connection Centre
  • Liaise with staff from other departments to resolve customer issues
  • Attend product/process training sessions and remain aware of policy changes

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric/Grade 12 qualification
  • Previous debt review experience and customer service experience
  • Experience working in a regulated environment

Behavioural Traits:

  • High degree of patience and assertiveness with excellent rapport-building skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to influence and motivate others
  • Effective emotional intelligence and team player
