Sales and Business Development Representative

About the Role:
Kencorp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team. As an Internal Salesman, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving as the Face of the Organization: You will be the primary point of contact for our internal and external partners, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: You will analyze sales data and market trends to inform your sales strategies and drive business growth.
- Relationship Building: You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities and expanding our product offerings.
- Sales Performance: You will achieve sales quotas and goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Product Promotion: You will effectively promote and sell our products and services to existing and prospective customers, using your expertise to build trust and confidence.
- Business Development: You will identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them, working closely with our management team to drive growth.
- Customer Insights: You will gather and analyze customer feedback, providing valuable insights to inform our product development and sales strategies.
- Reporting and Analysis: You will provide regular sales reports and analysis to our management team, highlighting trends and opportunities for growth.
- Continuous Improvement: You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously improving your sales skills and knowledge to drive business success.
- Client Communication: You will respond promptly and professionally to client queries, providing clear and concise information to resolve issues and build trust.
- Sales Record Keeping: You will maintain accurate and detailed sales records, providing valuable insights to inform our sales strategies.
- Client Relationship Development: You will develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities and expanding our product offerings.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: A related tertiary qualification is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in sales is required, with a proven track record of success.
- Customer Service: A commitment to excellent customer service is essential.
- Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office is required, along with familiarity with CRM practices and the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Sales and Communication Skills: Excellent selling and communication skills are essential, with the ability to build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Time Management and Organization: Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills are critical to success in this role.
- Relationship Management: Relationship management skills and openness to feedback are essential.
- Sales Process Understanding: An understanding of the sales process and dynamics is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Interpersonal Skills: Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers, are required.
