Business Development Representative

At Parcelvision, we're looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the growth of our business by identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads through cold calling and lead generation activities.
About the RoleThis role will play a critical part in driving the success of our sales team by developing and maintaining relationships with potential clients, ensuring that only high-quality leads are passed on to the sales team. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align on target market strategies, messaging, and lead qualification processes.
You will be responsible for initiating outbound calls to potential customers, introducing them to our products/services and gauging their interest. Additionally, you will identify and generate new leads through various methods, including outbound emails, social media outreach, and cold calls.
Responsibilities- Cold Calling: Develop and maintain a list of contacts to be called regularly, and conduct research to identify key decision-makers within each company.
- Lead Generation: Identify new sales opportunities through online research, industry events, and referrals.
- Qualifying Leads: Assess prospects' needs, decision-making authority, and buying potential to ensure only high-quality leads are passed on to the sales team.
- Lead Nurturing: Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients by regularly following up on previous conversations to keep prospects engaged.
- CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of interactions and activities in the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align on target market strategies, messaging, and lead qualification processes.
We are seeking an experienced sales professional who has a proven track record of success in a similar sales development, lead generation, or telemarketing role. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects in meaningful conversations and handle objections effectively.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required, along with proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation tools. Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other prospecting platforms is a plus.
You will have a results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a proactive approach. Strong time management and organisational skills are essential to handle high call volumes and follow-up tasks effectively.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of £6,000 OTE (On Target Earnings), with a clear progression path within a fast-growing company. Our benefits package includes 15 days holiday per year + your birthday off, and you will need a min 20 MB broadband line, and your own PC/Laptop and headset.
Please note that this role requires working hours of 8:30am to 5pm Mon-Fri (GMT).
