Job Title: Presales Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Consultant to join our team at SurTech. As a Presales Consultant, you will play a critical role in uncovering and developing solutions for our prospects and customers.

About the Role:
  • Lead solution designs, presentations, and demonstrations to prospects and customers.
  • Own the product and technical aspects of sales engagements to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with various teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other content contributors and resources.
  • Proactively scope solutions required to address customer requirements, assess customer needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for the customer.
  • Contextualize the value of our solutions to our clients through value-driven presentations and demonstrations.
  • Coordinate closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customer business requirements.
  • Secure input from all necessary solution stakeholders within our company and the prospect, adapting solutions as necessary to ensure appropriate support.
  • Own and complete product and information security responses for RFPs/RFIs.
  • Secure commitments from customer staff to ensure a deal's technical win.
  • Meet assigned targets for sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or other teams supported.
  • Provide coaching and professional development to team members and sales colleagues to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate expertise across Diligent solutions to qualify or win deals.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Partner with the sales team and maintain a productive and positive relationship.
  • Contribute to team sales quotas.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
  • Self-enable, rapidly acquiring new technical skills and domain knowledge.
  • Maintain strong presentation skills and communicate professionally through various means.

Education & Qualifications:
  • Matric certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Details of Experience:
  • At least three years of experience in a pre-sales consulting role, preferably in software solutions.
  • Excellent presentation abilities to all levels in a business, including Tech/C-level.
  • Ideal experience in the GRC software implementation space.
