We are seeking a dynamic Agricultural External Sales Consultant to drive sales growth in the agricultural sector. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in agricultural sales or a related field and in-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry and its products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with agricultural clients, including farmers, agribusinesses, and distributors.
  • Actively identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Provide expert advice on products, services, and solutions to meet the needs of clients.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess client needs, provide product demonstrations, and close sales.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth in the assigned territory.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately R 400,000 - R 600,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in agricultural sales or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry and its products
  • Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region
  • A valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation
