Segment Lead Role

At Plennegy Ltd, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Segment Lead to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, this role will be responsible for developing, marketing, and selling allocated products in the respective segment to dealers, co-ops, and key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales budgets for allocated areas
  • Analyze agricultural activities and determine equipment requirements in conjunction with the Product Specification Committee
  • Develop annual segment sales budgets focusing on key products
  • Execute against unit and GP sales objectives
  • Implement corrective actions where deviations occur
  • Sell in and sell out products to dealers and customers
Critical Skills and Knowledge:
  • Agricultural mechanization knowledge
  • Customer and personal service skills
  • Business acumen and financial management
Requirements:
  • Post-matric certificate or diploma in agriculture, business, or marketing
  • Valid South African driver's license
  • 5-10 years of experience in product application and sales
