**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Claims Advisor to join our claims department. As a key point of contact for customers with insurance claims queries, you will play a vital role in providing fair and timely resolution to their concerns.

Main Objectives:

  • Understand and address customer queries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Responsible for lodging claims, updating details, and making adjustments or cancellations as required
  • Ensuring customer complaints are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer interests come first
  • Handling customer enquiries via email and telephonically, answering queries and resolving issues
  • Identifying and resolving potential issues before they arise, escalating complex matters as required

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Clear Credit and Criminal record
  • 1-2 years experience in Insurance Claims (Local or International)
  • Proven experience in the insurance space and a proven track record of high performance

Skills and Qualities:

  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and numeric skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
