Job Description

**Resident Engineer - Water Treatment Works Specialist**

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our team at Royal Haskoning DHV. As a key member of our water treatment works team, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and budget
  • Compile and submit monthly cashflows and progress reports to the Contracts Engineer
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with quality management and quality control procedures
  • Monitor site health and safety and environmental compliance
  • Prepare and submit progress payment certificates and final drafts of Variation Orders (VOs)
  • Compile and submit documents and information required by the Engineer to assess and consider claims submitted by the Contractor

Requirements:

  • B.Eng/B.Sc or equivalent in Civil Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience
  • Professional registration with ECSA (PrEng) Essential
  • Minimum of 10 years of construction supervision experience related to water/waste water treatment works
  • Ability to work with and apply a wide variety of codes and standards and review project specifications
  • Experience with Large diameter pressure pipelines construction will be advantageous

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.Sc in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Preferred training and implementation of ISO19650 standards
  • Experience with BIM implementation using BEPs, MIDP, and TIDPs with applying CDE principals
