The Legends Agency seeks a highly skilled Multilingual Service Desk Specialist fluent in Mandarin to join their team.

With a strong background in IT solutions, the ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of service desk experience, excellent communication skills, and be able to handle a range of responsibilities including issue escalation, troubleshooting, and first-call resolution.

This role is critical in providing timely and effective support to Mandarin-speaking clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling incoming service requests and incidents from Mandarin-speaking users
  • Accurately logging and categorizing issues in our service management system
  • Prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary, ensuring timely resolution or dispatch to specialized support teams
  • Providing immediate assistance and resolution to common technical issues
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently during initial contact
  • FOLLOWING up on unresolved issues to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner
  • Delivering exceptional customer service with a focus on clear, empathetic communication
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy while managing user expectations

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a service desk or technical support role
  • Proven track record of managing service requests and resolving technical issues efficiently
  • Experience supporting Mandarin-speaking users is essential

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with users effectively and build positive relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both Mandarin and English
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently

We offer a competitive salary of R30,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
