Overview of the Job
The Managed Services Client Service Desk Agent plays a pivotal role as the first point of contact for clients and vendors, addressing their inquiries, incidents, or service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and logging client requests, validating and diagnosing issues, and providing timely resolutions or escalating to higher-level teams when necessary.
- Utilizing standard operating procedures and product knowledge to respond to client tickets, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Collaborating closely with resolver groups and other functions to ensure seamless communication and timely updates to clients.
- Producing breach and aging reports for tickets opened by the service desk.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Ambitious and self-motivated individual with a strong passion for IT and experience in a service desk or similar role.
- Proven ability to work in a 24X7 shift structure, utilizing sound judgment to escalate complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts and knowledge of network technologies (WAN, LAN, WLAN), Security, Cloud, Videoconference, or Collaboration is an asset.
