Mintek Pty Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Instrumentation Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and maintain advanced process measurement instruments at plants worldwide.
- Examine electrical problems, identify sources, and determine repair methods using circuit diagrams.
- E nsure Mintek's safety standards and procedures are upheld in the scope of work and adhere to prescribed safety standard procedures in the workspace.
- Recommend improved work practices and amendments to procedures affecting workmanship and safety matters.
- Assist supervisors with performing safety inspections and comply with client SHEQ procedures.
- Assemble, test, and calibrate advanced process measurement instruments.
- Commission and maintain instruments on site, troubleshoot problems with minimal input from others.
- Collaborate with development teams as required and complete trip documentation.
- Adhere to established operating procedures for project administration and work cooperatively with others.
Requirements:
- National Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Completed apprenticeship or work-integrated learning.
- Driver's License (Code EB) within 6 months of appointment.
- Experience in PB Board testing and setup, troubleshooting.
- Assembly and onsite commissioning of online analysis equipment.
- Onsite servicing of online analysis equipment.
