Personal Assistant Role

Fidelity Services Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Personal Assistant to join our team in the Gauteng South region. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Regional Manager, ensuring efficient operations.

Main Duties

  • Providing administrative assistance to the Regional Manager, including correspondence, data entry, and filing
  • Answering and screening incoming calls, transferring calls as needed, and taking messages
  • Managing correspondence, escalating enquiries, compliments, complaints, and providing feedback to management and clients as required
  • Handling requests and queries appropriately
  • Assisting with preparing, maintaining, updating, and filing of various branch reports
  • Coordinating meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Diary management, scheduling appointments and events, running errands
  • Arranging access, screening, and receiving any visitors to the Branch Manager's office, ensuring visitors are comfortable and refreshed
  • Ordering, collecting, and issuing uniforms
  • Assisting with general office enquiries and office tasks as required by the Branch Manager

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A clear criminal record
  • A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
  • Higher qualification in office administration/public relations is advantageous
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • At least 2 years' administration experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Driver's license is advantageous
  • Willingness to work extended hours on request
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
