Position Overview

The Campaign Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing lead administration and campaign execution within the financial services sector. This position involves active participation in the planning stages of campaigns through comprehensive data extraction processes. The specialist will be responsible for extracting campaign data based on predefined criteria and assisting in the evaluation and management of campaign parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administering direct marketing campaigns and maintaining the campaign calendar.
  • Contributing to the planning of campaigns across various direct marketing channels, including data selection, quality assurance, testing, and final approvals.
  • Regularly assessing campaign performance and generating ad hoc reports, including post-campaign analyses and insights.
  • Collaborating with the Management Information Systems (MIS) team for reporting and with the Analytics team for troubleshooting and further campaign development.
  • Working closely with the marketing team to manage the creation and execution of direct marketing content across multiple platforms, including email, SMS, and push notifications.
  • Ensuring the integrity of data throughout the campaign process.
  • Upholding legal and compliance standards in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Building and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and managing campaign budgets effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to work and demonstrate strong self-management skills. Key qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in direct marketing campaign support and execution.
  • Proficiency in campaign and reporting tools, with a solid understanding of data methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel; knowledge of HTML and SQL is advantageous.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or certifications in related fields.
  • Attention to detail, creative problem-solving abilities, and a good sense of business acumen.

Educational Requirements

Candidates must have completed their Matriculation Certificate (Matric) as a minimum educational requirement.
