Our client provides expert environmental and emergency response services, specializing in spill containment, hazardous waste management, and industrial cleaning. With a strong focus on regulatory standards and sustainability, they ensure safe and eco-friendly solutions for industries such as manufacturing, petrochemical, and mining.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets by maintaining external call cycles with clients, generating quotations, and liaising with the Sales Manager on progress. They will also be required to set up appointments, plan and coordinate client lists, visits, and site meetings, and report on all movements and clients via a sales call sheet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Upselling: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Maintaining External Call Cycle: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to identify new business opportunities.
  • Quotation Generation: Prepare and submit quotations to clients within agreed timelines.
  • Liaising with Sales Manager: Regularly update the Sales Manager on sales progress, including orders received and upcoming appointments.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule and confirm appointments with clients to discuss sales opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Plan and coordinate client lists, visits, and site meetings to ensure effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales reports to the Sales Manager, detailing all sales activities, including calls made, quotations submitted, and appointments scheduled.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in external sales or a related field.
  • Valid South African driver's license.
  • Owning a reliable vehicle.
  • Matric Certificate.
What We Offer:

As a Business Development Representative at The Legends Agency, you can expect a competitive salary of R250,000 - R300,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as a company vehicle and fuel allowance.
