Job Title: Divisional Manager: Hygiene and Pest Control OperationsJob Summary:

As a Divisional Manager: Hygiene and Pest Control Operations at HR Genie, you will be responsible for leading the Hygiene and Pest Control Division to achieve business growth and profitability. You will develop and implement strategies to drive growth, manage unit profitability, and ensure high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Growth and Development:
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and profitability within the Hygiene and Pest Control Division.
    • Ensure that each contract operates to agreed hygiene budgetary standards, including managing labor, equipment, and hygiene consumable purchases.
    • Prepare and submit achievable forecasts and budgets for the period.
    • Study and analyze monthly financial results, highlighting problem areas and taking appropriate action to rectify them.
  • Unit Profitability:
    • Ensure that unit profitability is maintained by managing labor, equipment, and hygiene consumable purchases.
    • Implement procurement procedures according to company policy.
    • Ensure that deadlines for submitting unit information are adhered to.
  • Service Delivery:
    • Maintain good client relationships to ensure retention and expansion.
    • Ensure units are appropriately serviced with qualified staff through recruitment and selection.
    • Ensure consistently high service standards.
    • Ensure that company statutory hygiene practices and methodology requirements are strictly adhered to.
  • Financial Management:
    • Ensure that administrative procedures are complied with by carrying out systematic physical checks on cash, stock control, bookkeeping control systems, financial records, and security procedures.
    • Ensure debtors collection is in line with contractual agreements.
  • Discipline and Administration Procedures:
    • Ensure that all subordinates' personnel files are up to date and contain all required items.
    • Ensure that staff are correctly dressed and display a name badge, maintaining a good company image.
    • Ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene is maintained.
    • Ensure that attendance registers are completed daily in accordance with statutory legislation.
    • Ensure that all statutory company legislation is prominently displayed.
    • Carry out disciplinary action in line with the Internal Disciplinary Code when deemed necessary.
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the Hygiene and Pest Control industry.
    • Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
