Job Title: Sales Professional - Eastern Cape

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our team in Eastern Cape. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading fitness company in South Africa, where you will have the chance to inspire people to live active lives and achieve their health and wellness goals.

Your primary objective will be to promote and market Virgin Active as the preferred choice in the fitness industry, focusing on individual and club sales. You will be responsible for planning daily activities to maximize results, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new opportunities to drive sales growth.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and use it to penetrate the market effectively. You must also be financially astute and able to understand sales budgets, with proven experience in calculating sales ratios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan daily activities to generate new leads, book appointments, and present to customers to achieve sales targets.
  • Record activity inputs using the tools and systems provided by Virgin Active, adhering to timelines and procedures.
  • Above all, maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of VASA products, including comparisons with competitors.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Matric qualification, with a relevant tertiary qualification (Sales and Marketing) being preferred.
  • A minimum 2 years' experience within the sales industry, with a proven track record of sales performance.
  • Promotion and sales skills to sell the Virgin Active product and service effectively.
  • The ability to build and maintain rapport with key customers and identify new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as telephone communication and listening skills.
Estimated Salary:

R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience.
