Requirements:

  • Minimum of Grade 12.
  • Relevant post-Grade 12 qualification in sales highly advantageous.
  • 3 years' previous working experience within a similar role (pharmaceutical/FMCG).
  • Technical skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc).
    • Familiarity with market research techniques to identify potential customers.
    • Code 08 license and own transport.
  • Sales skills:
    • Strong knowledge of the sales process, from prospecting to closing.
    • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced sales environments and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a flexible, challenging sales environment.
  • Soft skills:
    • Excellent communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Good time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
    • Must be detail-orientated and work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision.
