About the Role

Mukuru is seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Consultant to join our World Class Customer Support Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assistance with money transfer orders and related queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and effective support to customers via phone, email, and chat channels.
  • Order Creation: Assist customers in creating orders and resolving any issues related to money transfer.
  • Product Promotion: Promote new and additional products to customers and provide them with relevant information.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Support Team, Payment Relations, and VAS Teams to ensure seamless customer support.
Requirements
  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and one of the following languages: Shona/Ndebele.
  • Experience: 6 months of customer service experience and contact center experience (desirable).
  • Knowledge: Understanding of money transfer procedures, FICA regulations, and African currencies.
Additional Skills
  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer software and systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
