About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Representative to join our team in Ellisras. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and market penetration within an assigned geographical area. Your primary objective will be to effectively sell our approved range of products within the framework of Company policy.
Responsibilities:
• Develops joint business plans with key customers to increase sales revenue
• Implements and monitors sales strategies on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Consistently achieves monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
• Maximizes opportunities for closing sales through sound commercial discussions and negotiations
• Identifies priority products and customers in line with company strategy
• Canvasses existing and potential customers regularly using pre-determined sales routes and calling cycles
• Updates customers on product information, price lists, point of sales, specials etc.
• Ensures orders are executed correctly and timeously
• Provides necessary advice and information to maximize product utilization
• Identifies and develops promotion/advertising opportunities to achieve a suitable return on investment
Requirements:
• Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (essential)
• A tertiary qualification in Marketing (NQF 7 preferred)
• 3 years experience as a sales representative, preferably in the agricultural industry
Estimated Salary: R500,000 - R700,000 per annum depending on experience
