Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled External Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who wants to take their career to the next level. You will be working closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell products by establishing contact with existing and potential customers.
- Maintain and develop relationship with customers by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Recommend solutions that meet customers' needs.
- Visit and quote customers to ensure they receive the best possible service.
- Follow up on quotations to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Purposefully plan routes to visit customers throughout the week.
- Maintain quality service by enforcing company standards.
- Invoice customers and order stock to complete customer back orders.
- Deliver products to customers when needed.
- Follow up on customer back orders to ensure timely resolution.
- Complete customer planning and visits as required.
- Conduct cold calls to expand the customer base.
- Arrange and conduct demos on welding machines to showcase their capabilities.
- Complete the company vehicle checklist each Friday and hand it over to the Workshop Foreman.
- Ensure the company vehicle remains clean and tidy at all times.
- Attend to all job-related administration tasks.
- Carry out ad-hoc duties as required by management.
Requirements
- Matric qualification or higher.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the welding industry.
- Valid Code 8 driver's license.
- Experience working with customers and maintaining customer relations.
- Proven sales experience and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan routes effectively.
