Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. As an Administrative Assistant - Order Processing and Stock Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our receiving and dispatching processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process orders from walk-in customers and seed reps in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with receiving and dispatching of orders internally and externally
  • Conduct bi-weekly stock checks to identify any discrepancies and escalate to the Dispatch & Receiving Clerks attention
  • De-brief all PODs and Credit/Return notes on a daily basis
  • Assist with daily stock checks to ensure accurate stock holdings and report any discrepancies to the Dispatch & Receiving Clerks attention
  • Maintain filing of PODs and Credits on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Yearly bind and Docu-bank all documentation
Requirements:
  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • At least 2 years experience as an admin/customer service/receiving and dispatch clerk
