Administrative Support Officer

The Transactional Banking Administration Assistant will be responsible for:
- Assisting relationship consultants in servicing existing clients and onboarding new clients;
- Completing applications, documentation, activating debit cards, and Electronic Banking services as per client requests;
- Monitoring and driving progress of outstanding documentation;
- Checking and reporting all transactional activity on corporate and business accounts opened;
- Attending to client electronic banking requests such as statements, banking letters, etc.;
- Managing and ensuring that administrative functions are carried out efficiently;
- Preparing applications and documentation in accordance with procedural guidelines and full compliance of the bank's requirements;
- Updating information on the computer system as and when required;
- Preparing welcome packs for clients;
- Capturing and updating information on IMAL for customer creation and maintenance;
- Printing completed application forms together with terms and conditions and Electronic Banking Requirements;
- Attending to all administrative issues required in terms of the bank's policies for all approved deals;
- Providing the relationship consultant with business activity schedules timeously;
- Assisting in the completion of annual EDD requirements;
- Assisting with training and assisting clients with internet banking;
- Assisting in sourcing new business.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A matric qualification;
- A BCom Finance or Accounting degree or related degree or studying towards would be an advantage;
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience within the banking industry;
- Knowledge of IMAL, Docuware, and MS Office.
