Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the Northern Cape region.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in the retail fuel industry, with experience in business development, sales, and customer management. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales volume targets and expand the company's presence in the Northern Cape region.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including retailers, franchises, and other business partners.
- Ensure that all client interactions are professional, courteous, and meet the highest standards of customer service.
- Monitor and report on client satisfaction and provide regular feedback to the management team.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve client retention and increase repeat business.
- Analyze competitor activity in the market and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide regular reports to the management team on competitor activity and market trends.
- Ensure that all energy compliance requirements are met and maintained, including WSM reports, BM HES reports, site image, and uniform reports.
- Custodian of the tenure list and identify any tenure issues requiring resolution.
- Ensure that all meetings, dealings, and pertinent engagements with customers are documented via email and saved on the master file records electronically.
- Compile and update files for each service station, including areas housed on the same property.
- Ensure impeccable filing and record keeping.
- 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role or within a fuel service station environment.
- Must reside or relocate to the Northern Cape.
- Must be able to travel to the Northern Cape on a regular basis.
- Strong retail fuel industry experience (non-negotiable).
- Strong communication skills and able to build rapport with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Well-articulate, a good listener, and a strong communicator.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to think and act strategically in the best interests of the company.
- Well-presented.
- Able to work independently and self-disciplined, as the role is often done remotely or whilst travelling.
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
The salary range for this position is between R400,000 - R600,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
