Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior FET Phase Educator to join our team as a Blended Learning Facilitator. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving student achievement by maintaining high expectations for classroom culture, behavior, and academic growth for all scholars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver face-to-face and distance lessons for academic and clubs programs.
  • Assist students with computer programs and ensure that educational software meets their needs.
  • Communicate and collaborate with teachers and administrators to create personalized learning plans for students.
  • Lead intervention sessions and report damages to hardware.
  • Participate in professional development sessions and develop assessments to track student progress.
  • Lead scholar social and emotional development through CQ sessions and reflections.
  • Plan and deliver programs to support low-performing scholars or extend high-performing scholars.
  • Participate in place-based education and career and tertiary pathways education.
  • Develop SPARK culture and implement behavior management strategies.
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Grade 12/Matric Certificate
  • Studying part-time towards a B.Ed Senior/FET phase or PGCE Senior/FET Phase
  • Specialization in Mathematics with ability and experience to teach FET specifically
  • Clear/Clean criminal record
  • English language fluency
  • SACE provisional registration
